Rob Porter Along With The Team Trump Men’s Club : Accused Of Mistreating Girls? You Are Hired.

It’s almost as if   domestic violence allegations are a résumé enhancer for the Trump administration.

Could the indifference to allegations of abuse of Team Trump endure at the #MeToo minute? It can and it’s.

Trump officials didn’t fire or suspend or otherwise signal after the Daily Mail reported that two ex-wives had accused him of 33, they believed any less of Porter. If this wasn’t news to many of these why would they flinch?

After all, the Republican senatorial aide was through “& rdquo, background check and an intensive; said White House spokeswoman Sarah Huckabee Sanders. Porter’s ex-wives advised the FBI researchers doing that background check all about the abuse that is alleged. Porter’s manager, White House Chief of Staff John Kellywas conscious of a 2010 order against him.

Nevertheless he was a favorite at the White House, a former Trump administration colleague of Porter’s told me considering that Kelly didn’t understand Congress and relied on Porter’s knowledge and ties.

And when he punched one spouse and hauled another from the shower well?

Perhaps the president can relate; his first wife, Ivana, later withdrew her allegations that Trump had raped her in anger around the time of their divorce. Some 19 women prepared to be quoted by name have accused him of harassment and attack in the decades since.

And Trump stays in a mutual admiration society with former campaign managerCorey Lewandowski, that had been charged with attacking a female reporter following his effort to yank Breitbart’s Michelle Fields into the floor was captured on grainy video in a campaign rally.   Like the  charges against Bannon, those were dropped also.

How did each one of these hotheads slip past the filter? They rsquo didn &;t.

Among the many niceties that this White House does not have any patience is the vetting procedure. If it bothered Kelly which Porter could not pass a security clearance, there was no evidence of that in his bear hug of an initial reaction. “A man of true integrity and honour,” Kelly called him, along with a “friend, a confidante and a trustworthy professional. ”

Sanders is right that voters waved him in anyway, and understood all concerning the allegations against Trump himself.

But after all we’ve been forced to recognize about sexual assault because then, will that shrug hold among women voters?

In Alabama Sen. Doug Jones’ recent success over accused adolescent molester Roy Moore, white girls strongly preferred Moore, and three-quarters of all respondents said that the allegations were “not a factor at all. ”

In my own survey of Republican and GOP-leaning Independent girls who affirmed Trump time, six stated that would not be a factor, while others stated hello yes it might. New Yorker stated she is fed up with covering up and empowering creeps.

Others aren’t there and might never be. A Virginia Republican explained that policy factors will take precedence, and Puzder, Bannon, Lewandowski and besides are all out.

The issue is that the president remains all in.
